For 19 years, I served as "The Diamond Matchmaker" to some of Hong Kong's most accomplished individuals—CEOs, academics, medical pioneers, legal minds, and industry leaders. Over that time, I came to understand a quiet but profound truth: elite education, professional stature, and extraordinary success do not automatically equip a person with the ability to converse beyond their comfort zone, nor with the empathy needed to nurture genuine human connection. If even these remarkable minds find modern relationships challenging, then it is a struggle we must all approach with sincerity and humility.

Relationships are built on conversation, and conversation needs substance. Without substance, both remain hollow. To sustain a meaningful bond, you need empathy—and empathy requires perspective. The broader your horizons, the wider your emotional reach. Many time poor professionals face an additional hurdle: their social circles are often locally anchored, yet their professional lives are globally oriented.

That is why I founded Meiling Circle (小緣圈)—a private, upwardly mobile and upskilling members' circle for today’s EMBA graduates, professionals, executives, entrepreneurs, and anyone who is seriously interested in self enhancement, regardless of color, creed or marital status. The Onboarding Process

Apply - Pls fill in your Registration Form fully, completely and truthfully. Silly names like “Superhero Chan” or incomplete, or obviously incorrect information will be automatically discarded by our system.
Meet - Accepted registrants will be invited to meet via zoom.
Pay - Upon acceptance, kindly effect payment within 3 working days & email your deposit slip to office@meiling.hk
Verify - Upon receipt of payment, we shall request you to pls submit these documents online :
(a) HK ID card or passport copy
(b) proof of residence address (bank statement or utility bill accepted)
(c) proof of education
(d) proof of employment

Connect - Those who have passed their background check will be informed in writing, and cordially invited to attend either the next forum or a Coffee Meet with Mei Ling where she will welcome you personally. For those who have not passed for whatever reason, we thank you for your interest and you will be refunded in full within 7 working days.

Mei Ling is a multilingual entrepreneur and a leading voice in modern relationships, bringing a unique global perspective refined over three decades of living and working across Europe and North America.

After a distinguished corporate career in senior executive roles with international brands such as RH Macy New York, Levi Strauss San Francisco, and Dunlop Slazenger London, Mei Ling served as the Country Representative for the HK Trade Development Council in Frankfurt. She then channeled her expertise into entrepreneurship, founding, scaling, and eventually selling a phenomenally successful business at its peak.
This achievement inspired her next venture: empowering individuals in their personal lives. To that end, she trained & was certified in modern matchmaking in New York (Matchmaking Institute of New York), completed a professional internship in Europe, and founded the elite HK Matchmakers in 2007. Under her leadership, the firm has become the most reputable of its kind in Hong Kong and Southern China.
